In 2004, he obtained Master license with Towing Endorsement through the Mariner School. Renewed it in 2010 (submitted for renewal 2009)
In 1979, attended Longshore Sailing School, based in Westport, CT. Longshore Sailing School has one the oldest and renowned sailing programs in the US.
Liveaboard owner of a Jenneau 49 DS  October 2006- present
Liveaboard owner of a Jenneau 43 DS  May 2003- October 2006
Owned and sailed Island Packet 32 April 1990- May 2003
